When Bobbie meets Vico

Last April, Rina Navarro and Bea Alonzo co-founded a passion project called “I AM HOPE”. Their mission, is to augment support for the immediate and long term needs of the frontliners; our first line of defense.

On Saturday, June 20th, Bea took to social media to share that her charitable organisation I AM HOPE donated relief bags and disinfectants for Pasig’s garbage collectors and street sweepers.

“Hi Mama! Nakilala ko na ang paborito mo! Joke,” Bea began her post, referencing a line from her hit film Four Sisters and A Wedding, where she played the daughter of Vico’s real-life mother, actress Coney Reyes.

Bea also said that the donation was in line with the celebration of Father’s Day this Sunday.

“In line with Father’s Day, we intend to celebrate the fathers who choose to serve the community by cleaning the streets and picking up our garbage. MARAMING SALAMAT PO sa mga tatay na street sweepers at garbage collectors sa pagtulong sa ating kumunidad at sa pagttrabaho ng marangal para sa kanilang pamilya. From the I AM HOPE FAMILY, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!”

Friends and fans of Bea where quick to comment how the Mayor and the actress are “bagay”.
